Democracy Monument on this Orange Line record is best read as a future civic-core station area rather than as a generic future stop. Official MRTA and Thailand government material says the western Orange Line passes the Ratchadamnoen Road area after Sanam Luang, placing this record in one of Bangkok's most symbolic central corridors.
The surrounding catchment is already shaped by Democracy Monument, Loha Prasat, Wat Ratchanatdaram and the broader Phra Nakhon historic core. Movement here already comes from tourism, civic functions, heritage visitation, local commerce and short-stay demand.
