Description
On Nut is an operational BTS Sukhumvit Line station on Sukhumvit Road, station E9, between Phra Khanong and Bang Chak. BTS route information and OSM place it directly at Sukhumvit / On Nut, and Commons station data records it as part of the original BTS network opened on 5 December 1999. Unlike the future Lam Luk Ka stops, On Nut is a live rail address with immediate daily value for renters, commuters and buyers.
The neighborhood is one of eastern Sukhumvit's most practical residential hubs. OSM/Nominatim confirms the station building and Century The Movie Plaza Sukhumvit next to it, while the surrounding sois connect to On Nut Road, Phra Khanong, Bang Chak, supermarkets, local food streets and frequent buses. The feel is more everyday urban than luxury: good transit, strong convenience, many condominium choices, and easier pricing than Thong Lo or Phrom Phong.
For real estate, On Nut is strongest for rental condos, compact owner-occupier units and buyers wanting BTS access without prime Sukhumvit prices. It can work for yield-oriented investors because tenant demand is broad, but due diligence should focus on building age, walking route to the BTS, competition from new supply, noise along Sukhumvit, flood history in side sois and realistic rent assumptions. CBRE's 2025 outlook notes Bangkok residential sales remain constrained by financing and inventory, so pricing discipline matters even in a popular node.
