Description
Samut Prakarn is treated here as the legacy/local label for Pak Nam, BTS Sukhumvit Line station E19 in central Samut Prakan. MRTA documents place Pak Nam on the elevated Bearing - Samut Prakan Green Line extension, opened on 6 December 2018, and the station sits close to the province's civic core. The OSM anchor and Wikimedia station category identify the operational station as Pak Nam, between Royal Thai Naval Academy and Srinagarindra.
This is one of the strongest civic catchments on the eastern Green Line extension. OSM/Overpass identifies Samut Prakan District Office, Samut Prakan Fresh Market, Rama IX Health Park, Samut Prakan Learning Park and Observation Tower, the Chao Phraya riverfront park, Phi Suea Samut Fort and museum, Mueang Samut Hospital, Yuwaprasat Waithayopatham Hospital, Satri Samut Prakan School and several municipal schools. The station therefore mixes transport, government services, markets, schools, healthcare and riverfront public space.
For property, Pak Nam is more urban and service-rich than many outer Samut Prakan stations. Condos nearby can appeal to commuters, local officials, families needing schools and hospitals, and buyers who want a real town center rather than a purely suburban stop. Due diligence should focus on walking comfort, market traffic, river and flood exposure, building age, views, parking, noise, and whether the project benefits from both BTS access and the dense daily-life amenities around Pak Nam.
