Station details
Si Chan Pradit
ศรีจันทร์ประดิษฐ์
BTS · Sukhumvit Line Future station
Description
Si Chan Pradit is a future Sukhumvit Line station in Bang Pu Mai, Mueang Samut Prakan, around the coastal side of old Sukhumvit Road. The current Green Line still operates only to Kheha, while planning references describe the Samut Prakan - Bang Pu extension continuing east. For property, this means the station is a future-access story rather than a current BTS convenience.
The clearest local anchor is Wat Si Chan Pradit. Bang Pu Municipality places the temple at 174 Sukhumvit Road km 36, Soi Thetsaban Bang Pu 96, Bang Pu Mai, and notes its sea-view bridge behind the temple; OSM/Nominatim also confirms Wat Si Chan Pradit close to the station coordinates. Farther east, Bang Pu Recreation Centre and the Bang Pu Nature Education Centre add coastal recreation, mangroves, mudflats and birdwatching to the district identity.
For real estate, Si Chan Pradit is more suited to buyers looking for low-rise homes, local communities, coastal lifestyle or land-led value than dense central-Bangkok condos. A future station could improve access for residents and weekend visitors, but pricing should remain conservative until delivery is clearer. Krungsri Research supports the long-term value of mass-transit infrastructure, yet warns about unsold condominium stock on outer Green Line locations. Check flooding, drainage, road width, sea-air maintenance, distance to Kheha today, and whether future BTS premium is already priced in.
