Puchao Saming Phrai
ปู่เจ้าสมิงพราย
BTS · Sukhumvit Line
Description
Puchao Saming Phrai is treated here as the longer local/legacy name for Pu Chao, BTS Sukhumvit Line station E16 in Samut Prakan. The station's OSM anchor, BTS route material and MRTA Green Line documentation place it on the Bearing - Samut Prakan corridor, near Pu Chao Saming Phrai Road. The station opened with the eastern Green Line extension in December 2018, giving this industrial-residential edge of Samut Prakan direct rail access to Samrong, Bang Na, Asok, Siam and Kheha.
The catchment is mixed: local retail, schools, bus operations, museum/tourism and road access all matter. OSM/Overpass identifies Erawan Elephant Museum, Sukhumvit Park, BMTA Chang Erawan bus depot, Assumption College Samutprakarn, St. Joseph Tippawan School, Lotus's, Big C Samrong, Samrong fresh market and several local markets. MRTA describes the elevated Green Line alignment passing Pu Chao Saming Phrai Intersection, confirming the transport and road-corridor importance of the area.
For property, Pu Chao is a pragmatic Samut Prakan station rather than a premium lifestyle stop. Condos and low-rise homes may appeal to commuters, school-linked households and people working in Bang Na, Samrong, Samut Prakan and logistics/industrial zones. Due diligence should focus on walkability, traffic, truck routes, noise, building age, flood risk, access to schools and whether a project benefits from both BTS reach and local daily amenities.
