Kaset Nawamin
เกษตรนวมินทร์
Skytrain · Gray Line Future station
Description
Kaset Nawamin on this Gray Line record should be treated as a future station area on the Pradit Manutham-Kaset Nawamin commercial-residential corridor rather than as an operating rapid-transit stop. MRTA's current Grey Line Phase 1 project page confirms that the planned Vacharaphol-Thong Lo route crosses Prasert-Manukitch Road, identified as Kaset-Nawamin Road, then continues south along Pradit Manutham Road through a sequence that includes the Crystal Park and CDC side of the corridor before reaching the Lat Phrao section. That wording matters because the stored point sits right where the market already reads the area as a hybrid between Kaset-Nawamin access and the Pradit Manutham lifestyle-commercial strip. It is therefore a plausible future access point on a named corridor, but still not a finalized or active station.
What gives this station more substance than a generic future pin is the strength of the corridor identity. This part of northeast Bangkok is not just a housing strip: it is a mature urban band shaped by arterial movement, gated estates, roadside retail, destination commercial boxes, food frontage and repeated daily travel between Bueng Kum, Lat Phrao and Ram Inthra-side neighborhoods. Compared with Nuan Chan, which reads more softly residential, Kaset Nawamin on the Gray alignment feels more commercialized and road-led. Compared with Watcharaphon, it is less about a future gateway interchange and more about reinforcing a corridor the market already knows well.
For property work, the strongest reading is a future Kaset Nawamin Gray corridor thesis: commuter condos, family apartments, rental units, townhouse clusters, roadside service offices, destination retail-adjacent housing, food frontage and selective mixed-use assets. Krungsri supports the broader transit-linked housing case in Greater Bangkok, while CBRE helps keep assumptions disciplined outside central prime narratives. Because the line remains future-facing and station-specific public detail is still thinner than the corridor evidence, a `needs-more-sources` status is more defensible than `ok`.
